Ryan Shehan Returns to Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport and FR Americas Program in 2024

February 22, 2024 – With Vice-Championship honors to his credit from the 2023 season, Austinite Ryan Shehan will return to Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport and the FR Americas Championship in 2024. Becoming an instant favorite for the title, Shehan will bring a host of partners with him to the FIA-sanctioned series as he continues to ascend the motorsports ladder.

“Consistency is key and returning to Crosslink Kiwi in 2024 and continuing to collaborate with Engineer Stephen Giles, former F1 Chief Mechanic of McLaren Racing, will give me a leg up on my competition,” expressed Shehan. “The team is familiar with how I work and vice versa so I am expecting big things this season, and the sole focus is the championship at the end of the season.”

After earning the runner-up position in the 2023 title chase to teammate Callum Hedge, who has since advanced to the INDY NXT program, Shehan was quiet through the offseason as he worked to finalize plans for the upcoming season.

Stephen Giles added, “It is great to have Ryan returning to the team for the 2024 FR Americas Championship. I am really looking forward to working with him again and together we’ll be looking to go one place better than last year.”

Alongside his test-driving role with Ligier, which came courtesy of his 2023 championship position, Shehan will compete in the full FR Americas Championship season while continuing to explore additional opportunities throughout North America and around the world to gain experience and expand on his racing resume. With two wins, 13 podium results, one pole position, and two fast lap honors in 2023, Shehan is hungry and anxious for more success.

Shehan continued, “I am working with a new management team, led by Nic Jonsson, that is expanding my opportunities on the track globally. 2024 will also be a breakout year for the business, as we continue to expand our programs for fans, investors, sponsors, and partners off the track. Stay tuned!”

While competing with Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport, Ryan Shehan will receive support from RingSquared, Harrison Noel (KW Realty), Complete Circle Consulting, Stilo, The Cookbook Creative, Goose Creek Financial, ArgonDigital, Lucky Design, and Shores Media.

The first green flag of the 2024 season will take place at NOLA Motorsports Park over the April 11-14 weekend, before Shehan returns to Road America, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, New Jersey Motorsports Park, Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, and his home event to close out the season at the famed Circuit of the Americas.
