Patrick Woods-Toth Takes NOLA Pole

AVONDALE, La. (April 13, 2024) Patrick Woods-Toth (No. 27 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) secured the pole position for Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) at NOLA Motorsports Park. Last year’s driver champion in Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.), Woods-Toth moved up to FR Americas with the support of the championship’s scholarship, which included a chassis, engine, tires and entry fees for his 2024 FR Americas campaign.

With a 1:33.638 lap, Woods-Toth held a 0.406-second advantage over second-place Nicolas Ambiado (No. 55 TLink / Allegro Ligier JS F3). The two drivers also paced yesterday’s two practices, with each one setting atop the leaderboard for one session. Two-time NOLA race winner, Ryan Shehan (No. 66 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) was third, with Titus Sherlock (No. 31 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) and Cole Kleck (No. 11 Kleck Racing / International Mechanical Ligier JS F3) rounding out the top five.
