Alliance Racing and Save22 Partner for Their Motorsports Therapy Program
Team looks to parlay 2020 program into 2021
June 29, 2020 - Alliance Racing, a six-driver team in the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda, is pleased to announce their association with SAVE22 Veterans, a non-profit organization raising awareness for veteran suicide. In an ambassador type program, veterans will attend events as guests of Alliance Racing as part of their Motorsports Therapy Program, one of many programs offered by Save22 Veterans.
"We are extremely grateful to have been able to form this partnership as it will allow us to bring smiles to the faces of our veterans," explained Alliance Racing's Toney Edwards. "With COVID-19 putting the program on hold for the time being, we are planning for Save22 guests to attend future events as we built this effort in 2020 and onwards into 2021."
"SAVE22 is excited to partner with Alliance Racing and give veterans the unique opportunity in the open wheel racing world," added Albert Woodlin. "We thank the Alliance Race Team and their partners for the support of our mission and the support of the veteran community."
Alliance Racing and SAVE22's Motorsports Therapy Program will allow access for veterans to behind-the-scenes events, pits, driver meetings and one-on-one interactions with drivers. With the goal to provide relief for struggling veterans, Save22's guests will be able to live the motorsports life through the future professionals of the sports at some of the nation's best motorsports facilities.
