Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Earns Podium Results in the F4 Championship Powered by Honda at NOLA Motorsports Park
March 16, 2023 – It was the first F4 United States Championship and the first FR Americas Championship Powered by Honda events of 2023 this past weekend at NOLA Motorsports Park. Bringing a massive team to New Orleans, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport did not disappoint scoring multiple wins and podiums across both programs and flexing their muscles when wheel-to-wheel racing began.
After two days of testing, it was time to get busy in qualifying and the Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport drivers were at the top. On the F4 side of the program, the Texas-based outfit put three drivers in the top-ten and five in the top-12 led by Titus Sherlock. Sherlock claimed an outside front-row starting spot with the second fastest lap of the session and directly behind him would be his teammate Patrick Woods-Toth in fourth. Jesse Lacey clocked the eighth fastest time of the session with Lewis Hodgson in 11th, Cole Kleck 12th, female driver Hannah Greenemeier in 16th, Alex Benavitz in 22nd, and Madison Aust in the 25th position.

The first F4 United States Championship race of the season yielded a pair of podium results, three top-five finishes, and six top-15 results. While Titus Sherlock led the Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport contingent to the green flag, it was rookie Patrick Woods-Toth who earned the team's best result scoring his first podium result in the first race of the season. Celebrating on the podium, Sherlock joined Woods-Toth in the festivities as they sprayed the bubbly in a typical podium celebration. With two drivers on the podium, it was Jesse Lacey who also earned a top-five result with a solid drive to fourth improving from P8 on the grid. Lewis Hodgson rounds the top-ten crossing the stripe in tenth just ahead of Hannah Greenemeier in 12th and Alex Benavitz in 14th. With 31 drivers in the field, all team Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport drivers finished in the front half with Madison Aust in 17th, gaining eight positions in the caution-filled race.
Sunday’s first wheel-to-wheel racing featured the Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport drivers in the F4 ranks and it was another double podium-winning race. Australia’s Jesse Lacey got his first taste of the podium with Canadian Patrick Woods-Toth joining him on the podium in third. It was three Crosslink Kiwi drivers in the top-five with Lewis Hodgson accomplishing that feat as he and Woods-Toth earned some of the race’s fastest laps. Titus Sherlock finished in a point-scoring position, crossing the line in seventh with PMH Diversity Driver Hannah Greenemeier 11th, Madison Aust with a strong performance in 12th, and Cole Kleck in 14th. Alex Benavitz gained some additional experience in F4 competition and ended race two in the 22nd position.
The F4 contingent was back on track for race three and it was another quartet of top-ten results with Woods-Toth leading the way and standing on the podium in third. The young Canadian drove a near-perfect race to earn the third-place result, just ahead of teammate Lewis Hodgson in fourth. Jesse Lacey continued his string of strong finishes crossing the line in P8 with Titus Sherlock earning a point for P10. On the outside looking in on the points was the 11th-place finisher of Cole Kleck while Alex Benavitz finished just ahead of Greenemeier in 16th.
The start of a busy season is now underway and Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport will enjoy a few weeks off before hitting the track for testing and the next F4 and FR race weekend May 18-21 at the famed Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
